752 artists from 68 countries, 2521 cartoons

752 artists from 68 countries competed with 2521 cartoons in the Aydın Doğan International Cartoon Competition, described as "number one cartoon competition in the world" by the authorities.

There are seven female jury members in the 11-member jury, in which artists who are renowned as cartoon authorities in our country and across the world since the first day of its inception; which, until now, has received about 85,000 cartoons until the present. The president of this year’s jury is Marlene Pohle (Argentina), and the members are Ercan Akyol (Turkey), Gülse Birsel (Turkey), Assunta Toti Buratti (Italy), Latif Demirci (Turkey), Selçuk Demirel (Turkey), Yalda Hasheminezhad (Iran), Anita Kunz (Canada), Piyale Madra (Turkey), Tan Oral (Turkey), and Elena Ospina (Colombia), all authorities in the world of culture and arts.
